Wholesale Line Sheets For Jewelry Brands
Jewelry is the category most often let down by its own line sheet, and the reason is density. The instinct is to fit as many pieces on a page as possible, because the products are small. The result is a grid of thumbnails where nothing is distinguishable from anything else, and a buyer who cannot tell your work apart will not order any of it.
Small Products Need More Space, Not Less
The difference between two of your rings might be a stone, a finish, or two millimetres of band width. At thumbnail size those differences vanish. Give each piece enough room that the thing you spent months getting right is actually visible, and accept fewer pieces per page. A twelve-page line sheet a buyer can read beats a four-page line sheet they cannot.
The Fields Jewelry Buyers Check
- Materials, stated precisely. 14k gold fill is not gold plate is not solid 14k, and a buyer whose customer asks will need the exact answer. Vague material descriptions read as either carelessness or evasion.
- Dimensions. Chain length with extender range, pendant size, band width, stone size. These are the questions that come by email if they are not on the page.
- Sizing and what you carry. Ring sizes stocked, whether you offer half sizes, and lead time on sizes made to order.
- Both prices. Jewelry commonly carries a higher markup than gift, often above keystone, so stating your suggested retail rather than leaving it implied is genuinely useful to a buyer working out whether your pricing supports their model.
- Care and packaging. What each piece ships in, and whether a display or card is included. Jewelry buyers are also buying the thing that sits on their counter.
Photography Carries More Weight Here Than Layout Does
This is the one category where honesty requires saying that the document is the second problem. Consistent lighting, consistent background, consistent scale across every piece matters more to a jewelry line sheet than any typographic decision. A well-set page of inconsistent photographs still looks amateur; a plain page of consistent ones looks like a brand.
If your photography is inconsistent, fix that first. The layout will be waiting.
Where To Start
The catalog template suits this category better than a dense line sheet does, because it gives each piece room by default. Pair it with the order form so a buyer can order the range without rebuilding it in a spreadsheet.
If you want it built for you, the Line Sheet Build at $190 is one document from your spreadsheet in four days, and the full $190 credits toward a kit if you upgrade within 30 days.
